Afterwards, she joined the Theoretical and Computational Membrane Biology group at Saarland University where she received her Ph.D. degree (Dr. rer. nat.) in 2010. Then, she joined the Computational Biology group at University of Erlangen for postdoctoral training. Currently, she is an Associate Research Professor at University of Saint Joseph. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at University of Macau. Her research interests include molecular dynamics simulations, protein structure prediction, machine learning and its application in drug discovery and bioinformatics.
